Pak-Afghan-Saudi Ulema Conference for Peace in Afghanistan 14-point 'Afghanistan Peace Declaration' issued Successful conference organized by Rabita-e-Alam-e-Islami in Makkah Mukarramah. 

(Islamabad: June 10, 2021) Successful conclusion of Pak-Afghan and Saudi Ulema Conference for Peace in Afghanistan A 14-point "Afghanistan Peace Declaration" was issued. The conference was organized by Rabita-e-Alam-e-Islami in Makkah under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri. Chairman Islamic Ideological Council Dr. Qibla Ayaz, Pakistan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Bilal Akbar and Pakistan's Permanent Representative to OIC Saeed Sheikh attended. Several scholars from Islamabad and Kabul participated via video link.The joint statement called for support for dialogue, peace, tolerance, moderation and reform in the region. All Muslims are like one body, trying to reconcile them is the command of God and the command of the Prophet. The scholars will try to promote Islamic and human brotherhood all over the world, especially in Afghanistan. In this regard, a body of scholars from both the countries will be formed. Violence should be discouraged from associating with any one religion, nation, civilization or race. Suicide attacks are against Islamic principles. According to the statement, all the warring factions have been invited for peace talks while the scholars of both the countries will play an effective role in all these processes. The declaration concluded with a tribute to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia for their Afghan peace efforts.
